Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patent Agent to manage its
intellectual property portfolio in the field of non-invasive
testing of cell-free DNA.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic prosecution plans for key patent
families
Identify and capture important innovations for new patent
filings
Collaborate with IP, Contracts, R&D, and Business Development
teams throughout the patent process
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in molecular biology, biology, computer science,
or related discipline
Admitted to practice before the United States Patent Office
At least 8 years of relevant job experience
Substantial in-house experience within a leading biotech,
diagnostics, or pharma company
Experience in patent prosecution related to DNA testing and
mutation analysis preferred
