What you'll do:

You will build a strong network and develop a personal book of business within the self-storage investment sales sector. Through a supportive 12-month training and development program, including dedicated mentorship, you will gain essential market knowledge and transaction expertise. By actively collaborating with a dynamic team and engaging with clients, you will foster relationships and drive business growth, laying the foundation for a successful career in commercial real estate.

• Cultivate business relationships and apply negotiation skills to sell and promote assets on behalf of clients.
• Secure new business opportunities and expand existing ones through a combination of prospecting, networking, relationship building, and using the resource from the CBRE global platform.
• Provide owners with up-to-date information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values.
• Prepare Broker Opinion of Valuation and Offering Memorandums.
• Gathering and analyzing market intelligence to provide informed underwriting guidance to property owners.
• Coordinates materials necessary for transactions.
• Prepares offers, term sheets, and amendments.
• Staying up to date on market conditions, property values, and legislative developments that may impact the real estate industry.
• Drafts clear and effective correspondence to both existing and potential clients.
• Build new business relationships by actively participating in local business and charitable events and engaging with industry and professional associations.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. Real Estate License is required.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine the best commission plan, including a candidate's education, training, and experience required for this role. The Private Client Program Associate will receive a draw-commission compensation structure for their first year, with total earnings ranging from $60,000 - $70,000. Upon completion of the first year, the Associate will transition to a compensation structure that is 100% commission for an indefinite duration. The commission plan offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and current industry production. This role will have the following benefits available: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
