Job SummaryUT Health Henderson Hospital seeks a dedicated and skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Vascular and Echo to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing Echo and Vascular ultrasound diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure accurate and complete examinations, complying with established policies and procedures.Responsibilities

• Performs Echo and Vascular ultrasound diagnostic procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination by complying with established policies and procedures.
• Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with doctors, nurses, and all other individuals providing care to your patient, to ensure accurate and timely performance of all echo/vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Participates in quality improvement activities (including departmental adherence to ICAEL/ICAVL standards) by participating in the collection and organization of data to ensure quality is consistent with established standards.
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development by participating in educational activities to promote improvement and compliance with ICAEL/ICAVL standards.
• Provides customer service by utilizing communication skills to ensure organizational objectives and mission are maintained.
• Maintenance and care of equipment within the department.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
• Ability to perform all general, OB, and vascular procedures according to protocol, certification, and licensure.
• Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible within 90 days of hire.
• BLS Certification.
• Preferred: Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program.
