Job Description:
This HR Assistant Position Features:
Needs/Prefers strong HR Assist exp. - and payroll knowledge is
required and need to be detailed orientated.
-First project will be reorganizing all employee files as they have
a really old system.
*Perform a variety of routine human resources support tasks such as
maintaining records, data entry, clerical support and payroll
processing.
*Maintain and enhance customer service to ensure that both external
and internal customers have a positive experience.
*Answer routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on
employment verifications, benefits, and job openings in line with
written
company policy on these matters
*Examine employee files to answer authorized inquiries per company
policy and provide information for personnel actions.
*Record HR data for each employee, including such information as
addresses, weekly earnings, absences, productivity or other
required
data.
*Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel
activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances,
performance
evaluations, and classifications.
*Support recruitment and interview process. Maintain employment
resumes, application forms, and applicant flow logs in line with
company
policy.
*Compile payroll information and process weekly transfer of payroll
data.
*Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by Employee
Services Coordinator
*Gather personnel records/documentation from other departments or
employees as necessary.

Confidentiality - Ability to maintain the highly confidential
nature of human resources work.

saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking
questions as
appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and
paragraphs in work related documents.
Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of
others.
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the
strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or
approaches to
problems.
Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for
the needs of the audience.
Computer Skills - Proficient in common office programs (Word,
Excel, Outlook, etc.)
-Filing, documents, tracking, employee information
-Assisting with normal HR duties including payroll for 112 ees,
will probably be part of the implementation of the new system
