Job Description:
A company is looking for a Design Engineer II - Optical to
design and implement capacity on the existing DWDM network.
Key Responsibilities:
Design planning and capacity fulfillment across U.S. and Canadian
networks
Collaborate with Project Managers to meet service requirements and
deadlines
Provide support to field operations and manage budget forecasts for
service commitments
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years of Telecommunications and/or data networking
experience
Working knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs using
ROADM technology
Familiarity with optical systems such as Fuji, Adva, Ciena, Cisco,
Infinera, and Nokia
Experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar telecom
inventory systems
