Job Description:

We have immediately opening full time dental assistant. Basic requirements are fast, reliable, team player, and able to work over time.



We're hiring a personable dental assistant to provide extraordinary customer service to our patients. Our office is brand new and patients love us!



Responsibilities include assisting our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. * Must have 2 years of clinical experience!



Work hours:



--- Monday 9am-6pm
--- Tuesday 10am-7pm
--- Wednesday 9am-6pm
--- Thursday 9am-3pm (alternate open with Saturday each week)
--- Friday 9am-6pm
--- Saturday 8am-3pm (alternate open with Thursday each week)
--- Some over time expected


After 1 year work and over 1000 hours/year will be offer pension plan, 401k matching. After probation period will offer 7 paid federal holiday PTO, additional PTO as bonus (TBD), 5 paid sick day off. no health insurance offering at this time.

Responsibilities:

--- Walk patients through a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile
--- Make sure each patient has the most up-to-date and accurate dental records by recording their information after every visit

--- Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients' mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
--- Provide postoperative instructions to patients so they are informed about how to care for their teeth and gums after procedures to prevent infection
--- Get the patient area ready for any examinations or procedures by preparing equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and sanitizing and laying out dental instruments


Qualifications:

--- Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service
--- Candidates must have graduated from an accredited dental assistance program with an associate's degree
--- Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
--- Basic data entry and computer skills
--- Minimum 2 years dental experience.
--- Former work reference will be contacted.

--- have a reliable transportation
